The new DIN Handbooks 15/5 "Standards for accessories and testing" and 15/6 "Standards for fittings and joint accessories" complete the series of DIN Handbook 15 "Steel pipelines".

The DIN Handbook 15 has been revised and expanded into a multi-part series: Volumes 1 and 2 replace the previous DIN Handbook 15, Volume 3 on flanges and joints is entirely new, while Volume 4 "Standards for use in the design and construction of pipework" replaces the former Handbook 141.

Containing a total of 110 standards, this series provides huge savings compared to the purchase of the individual standards.

This Standard specifies requirements for the manufacture of two product specification levels (PSL 1 and PSL 2) of seamless and welded steel pipes for use in pipeline transportation systems in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

The 4th edition of DIN Handbook 43 contains 91 standards for unthreaded fasteners, such as pins, rivets, keys, adjusting and retaining rings. 

As in the previous editions of DIN Handbook 3, this 5th edition covers a broad spectrum of mechanical engineering topics, with particular emphasis being placed on the basic, most commonly used construction elements and materials.
