Publisher: DIN
Publication date 2011-01
2. Edition, 90 Pages, 21 x 10,5 cm, Paper covers
This handy book presents the European designation system for copper materials and enables the user to compare the old and new designations.
Materials and products are presented in separate tables for wrought copper alloys, master alloys, ingots and castings. Also included is a full list of former DIN Standards and the European DIN EN Standards which have replaced them.
This DIN EN conversion tool was drawn up by the special committee ANP IE of the German Institute for Standardization e.V. (DIN). Industry and businesses still face problems with the conversion of materials based on national DIN Standards to the new European materials in accordance with the new DIN EN Standards.
Working group ANP IE was established by interested industrial representatives whose remit included the development of a tool for copper and copper alloys relating to their designation and conversion.
The result is a convenient, attractively priced product which users can take anywhere.
