How can I print DRM protected PDFs with Reader X?
By default, Adobe Reader X runs in protected mode.
Check the status of protected mode and choose File > Properties > Advanced > Protected Mode.
Protected mode is enabled by default. This is how you can turn-off protected mode:

Choose Edit > Preferences. The Preferences dialog box appears

In the Categories list select General

Deselect Enable Protected Mode at startup
