Overview:
This standard applies for connectors for electrical and electronical applications. The object of the test described in this standard is to determine the mechanical and electrical operational endurance, for example, engaging and separating cycles, of a connector in an operating mode which includes a specified electrical load. The responsible committee is K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connector") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
