Overview

This document (EN ISO 17881-2:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 "Textiles" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 "Textile and textile products", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-12 AA "Textilchemische Prüfverfahren und Fasertrennung" ("Testing methods for separation and chemistry of textile fibres") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This part of ISO 17881 specifies a test method for determining some phosphorous flame retardants in textiles by high performance liquid chromatography - tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The method is applicable to all kinds of textile products.
