This standard contains specifications about slotted countersunk flat head screws of product grade A and with threads from M1,6 to M10 inclusive. In the new edition of this standard, the dates from the normative references have been eliminated in order to allow, beyond doubt, the application of each current version of a standard to which reference is made. Moreover, the specifications for the finish have been updated. This document (EN ISO 2009:2011) has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German committee is NA 067-00-05 AA "Kleinschrauben und gewindeformende Schrauben" ("Miniature screws and thread forming screws") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV).
