This standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon head bolts with threads from M5 up to and including M64, of product grade C. In the new edition of this standard, the dates from the normative references have been eliminated in order to allow, beyond doubt, the application of each current version of a standard to which reference is made. This document (EN ISO 4016:2011) has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" , in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German Committee is NA 067-00-02 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Außengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric external threads") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV).
