Overview:

This standard is identical to ISO 9015-2:2003. It specifies microhardness tests on transverse sections of welded joints of metallic materials with high hardness gradients. It covers Vickers hardness tests in accordance with ISO 6507-1 and/or ISO 6507-2, normally with test loads of 0,98 N to less than 49 N (HV 0,1 to less than HV 5). The content has not been modified with respect to DIN EN 1043-2:1996-11. The responsible German Joint Working Committee is NA 092-00-05 GA "Joint Working Committee NAS/NMP: Zerstörende Prüfung von Schweißverbindungen (DVS AG Q 4)" ("NAS/NMP: Destructive tests of welds (DVS AG Q 4)").
