Abstract: The series of guidelines VDI 2067 deals with the calculation of the economic efficiency of building installations. It applies for all building types. Because the calculation of the power requirement is made step by step, the guideline ist divided in several parts. This guideline gives an overview about the complete works of the series of guidelines. The essential fundamentals and terms and definitions are explained. The standards and guidelines as well as special terms and definitions applying to the specific calculations are listed in the corresponding parts.
