Quantum dots (QDs) are crystals of semiconductor material 2- 15 nm in a given dimension and often exhibit desirable absorption and emission properties. This Technical Specification specifies the method for determining the mass of a sample of quantum dots dispersion after the removal of impurities and surfactant ligands through heating at high temperatures. The responsible body is DKE/K 141 "Nanotechnologie" ("Nano technology") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
