This standard complements VDI 2729 Part 1, is based on its knowledge and requires its application. Gears can be calculated in a certain position with a known state of movement of all the transmission members and accelerations as well as forces acting on the transmission members but also the force effects on the drive. It presents a system of successive calculation modules for the kinetostatic analysis of transmissions with varying velocity ratio.
