Short description

The series of standards VDI 3810 gives recommendations for the various building services and trades regarding safe, specified, demand-oriented and sustainable operation of buildings and building installations. The standards describe the prerequisites for fulfilling the operator's obligations, safe operation of installations, economic efficiency and environmental compatibility. This standard illustrates the legal context of the owner's accountability. It supports the owner in realising owner's accountability in the context of his individual situation, to define and conceptually structure it so as to ensure legally sound operation of a building or premises.
