Short description
Besides vehicles propelled by a combustion engine only, the number of electrically chargeable hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, and electrically propelled or electrically assisted two-wheelers is on the rise. The charging infrastructure must therefore be taken into account when buildings are planned. This standard applies to the equipping of buildings with charging places for electromobility and the equipping and designing of the charging places themselves. It gives recommendations for residential buildings, sales outlets, workplaces, multi-storey car parks and underground car parks. This standard helps planners, architects, and building owners to incorporate charging infrastructure for the above vehicles into the interior or exterior of buildings.
