Short description
The manual standard reference method described in DIN EN 13211 for the determination of the mercury mass concentration in the emission was already published in 2001. With the reference method, better process parameters can be achieved today than those specified in the DIN Standard. The standard is therefore currently being revised by CEN/TC 264/WG 8. However, the execution of the necessary validation measurements is still delayed, which makes it necessary to publish the available prerequisites and experiences for achieving better process parameters of the reference process as a VDI Expert Recommendation. The Expert Recommendation is aimed at authorities, industry, business and universities.
