DIN EN 856:2016-09

The present product standard specifies requirements for four types of rubber-covered spiral wire reinforced hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies of nominal bore from 6 to 51. The standard does not include requirements for end fittings. It is limited to the performance of hoses and hose assemblies. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen (Spiegelgremium zu CEN/TC 218, ISO/TC 45/SC 1)" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 218, ISO/TC 45/SC 1)") of the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU) at DIN.
