This standard has been prepared by Working Committee "Anlagen zur Löschwasserversorgung einschließlich Wandhydranten" ("Installations for supply of water for firefighting including hose systems") (NA 031-03-05 AA) of the Firefighting and Fire Protection Standards Committee (FNFW) at DIN. In this standard, requirements for artificial covered store rooms for water for firefighting with a draw-off point are specified. Furthermore, along with requirements for the shape and design of the water-tanks for firefighting, regulations for the draw-off point for fire fighting are also specified.
