About this product

This standard applies to pressure gauges with Bourdon tubes in coil form for measuring pressures for high pressure applications. It applies to those pressure gauges that have a dial with a scale and a pointer. It applies to pressure ranges greater than 1 600 bar and to the nominal sizes 100 and 160.
DIN 16001 includes specific test procedures for conducting type and production tests and also applies to liquid-filled pressure gauges. However, these devices are not intended for use with oxygen or acetylene. This standard does not apply to pressure gauges for electrical limit signalling.
