This standard includes minimum requirements for mechanical security equipment that - can be subsequently mounted on door and window elements and - can lock these elements and thus raise the resistance of these elements to invasion to such an extent that negotiation with simple tools is aggravated. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 18104-1:2000-09: a) the normative references have been updated; b) the standard has been completely revised editorially; c) the designation of the tool sets has been adapted in accordance with DIN EN 1630:2011-09. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-09-02 AA "Einbruchschutz" ("Burglar resistance") at DIN.
