This standard has been fundamentally revised. Just like the previous standard, it classifies centralised lubrication systems according to their mode of operation. The structure has been adjusted to the new guidelines and simultaneously revised according to the commonly used system configurations. The definitions of the terms for centralised lubrication systems and the components contained therein have been partially redefined. The list of standards and the pressure/time graphs for the different types of systems which are represented as principle diagrams have been adapted to the development.
This document replaces DIN 24271-1:1982-04 .
