Overview

This document has been prepared or revised by Working Committee NA 115-01-04 AA "Anforderungen und Prüfung" ("Requirements and test methods") at the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp). This standard establishes a compilation of data with respect to dynamic mechanical transport loads as they may appear on cargo platforms of means of transport (land and air vehicles as well as vessels) during normal use (no coincidences). These are mainly mechanical vibrations in a wide frequency range as well as impact loads. The standard is a basis for derivation of test conditions becoming part of test standards or which are used during transport simulations in laboratory investigations. The objective of this standard is to provide a uniform representation of data for dynamic mechanical loads allowing users to analyse and evaluate individual data. The respective values are intended for universal use. They do not take into consideration the sensitivity of individual, diverse transported goods, for example with regard to the given frequency ranges.
