This document has been prepared by Working Committees NA 062-06-62 AA "Prüfung von Schmierfetten" ("Testing of lubricating greases") at Technical Section Standardization of Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products (FAM) at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This standard applies to soap-based lubricating greases and polyurea-thickened lubricating grease systems without the addition of solid lubricants. The method according to this document is used for the quantitative determination of the content of solid matters in particle sizes above 25 Mm in lubricating greases.
