This standard specifies a method for determining antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), cobalt (Co), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), nickel (Ni) in natural and synthetic textile fibres by means of extraction with hydrochloric acid. In order to determine the soluble metals, the chopped up textile sample is extracted with 0,07 mol/l HCl.
