Overview

This standard contains test methods and criteria for categorisation of semitrailers with rear-dump truck cavity built-up with respect to their steadiness during tipping of the load. It does not affect traffic regulations but supports both vehicle manufacturers regarding their obligation to fulfil steadiness requirements in accordance with Directive 2006/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on machinery as well as users in the capacity as employers during the procurement of these vehicles for certain fields of application, therewith supporting their obligation to provide suitable work equipment in accordance with the Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (BetrSichV) (German Ordinance on industrial safety and health).
