This standard specifies procedures and parameters for testing static and dynamic stiffness of components intended for vibration control (such as shock mounts with bushes). This standard applies to components installed in aircraft in order to achieve vibration control. The standard may be applied when referred to in the respective product standard or in a design specification. This standard EN 4662:2010 has been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Mechanics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-09-03 AA "Innenverlegung inklusive Bodenbeläge und Hatracks" ("Interior lining, floorcovering and hatracks") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
