This standard is applicable to the measurement of partial discharges which occur in electrical apparatus, components or systems when tested with alternating voltages up to 400 Hz or with direct voltage. This document contains changes and additions to definitions. Requirements for calibrators are specified. The responsible committee is DKE/K 124 "Hochspannungs- und Hochstrom-Prüftechnik" of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
