This standard applies to routers and trimmers. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 60745-2-17 (VDE 0740-2-17):2008-02: a) warnings for routers supplemented in clause 8; b) clarifications in Annex K; c) Annex M added; d) editorial adjustments to IEC 60745-1:2006. The responsible Committee is K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
