DIN EN ISO 10140-4 specifies the basic measurement procedures for airborne and impact sound insulation in laboratory test facilities. An annex describes additional procedures for measurements at low frequencies. The document contains the appropriate relevant clauses of the ISO 140 standard series relating to the test facility and is intended to replace, together with the other parts of the ISO 10140 standard series, the corresponding parts of the ISO 140 standard series. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-02-31 AA "Schalldämmung und Schallabsorption, Messung und Bewertung" ("Sound reduction and sound absorption; measurement and evaluation") at DIN.
