This new version is an adaptation to new technical requirements of market surveillance, for example, requirements for the throttle-control linkage. The contents regarding sound and vibration measurements have been adjusted to DIN EN ISO 22867 or DIN EN ISO 22868. The standard has been prepared by Working Group 6 "Manually portable forestry machinery" of CEN/TC 144 "Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France) and by ISO/TC 23/SC 17 "Manually portable forest machinery" (secretariat: SIS, Sweden). The committee responsible on a national level is NA 020-00-12 AA "Tragbare Forstmaschinen" ("Manually portable forest machinery").
This document replaces DIN EN ISO 11681-1:2009-03 .
