This standard specifies tests by which the shelf-life of sterile intraocular lenses in their final packaging can be determined. In addition to real-time shelf-life studies, accelerated shelf-life studies are also illustrated. These tests include procedures to establish the stability of intraocular lenses during distribution and storage.
