DIN EN ISO 12821:2015-08

This standard specifies the dimensions of the 26-mm-tall crown finish for glass bottles containing beverages. The tall crown finish is designed to use a metal crown closure (see Cetie data sheet EC 01-02). The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 14634:2010-11: a) the technical content of the European Standard EN 14634:2010 has been adopted as International Standard ISO 12821:2013 which is now attributed to the European level as EN ISO standard; b) in Figure 2, the radius was corrected from 27,7 mm to 28,6 mm; c) minor editorial changes through adaptation to the ISO standard. The text of ISO 12821:2013 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 63 "Glass Containers" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and adopted as FprEN ISO 12821:2014 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 261 "Packaging", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German standardization body is Working Committee NA 115-02-04 AA NA 115-02-04 AA "Behältnisse aus Glas" ("Glass containers") of the DIN Standards Committee Packaging (NAVp).
