This standard deals in connection with field testing the flexible dilatometer test as part of geometrical investigation and testing in accordance with EN 1997-1 and EN 1997-2. This standard describes the procedure for conducting a test with the flexible dilatometer, either on land or off-shore, in natural soils and treated stockpiles, in very hard soils and in very soft and hard rocks. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-05-09 AA "Baugrund; Feldversuche (SpA zu CEN/TC 341/WG 2, WG 3 und WG 5)" ("Subsoil; field tests (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 341/WG 2, WG 3 and WG 5)") at the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee at DIN.
