DIN EN ISO 3994:2014-12

This product standard for hoses for suction and discharge of aqueous materials specifies requirements and tests to be conducted. These plastic hoses contain helical-thermoplastic-reinforced thermoplastics as reinforcement elements and are for use in an ambient temperature range from -10 °C to +55 °C. The scope differentiates between light-, medium- and heavy-duty applications. These hoses are not intended for use with flammable or combustible materials, nor with aromatic solvents. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45/SC 1 "Hoses" of the International Organization for Standardization and has been adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national standards sommittee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen (Spiegelgremium zu CEN/TC 218; ISO/TC 45/SC 1)" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies (Mirror committee to CEN/TC 218; ISO/TC 45/SC 1)") at the DIN Standards Committee Rubber Technology (FAKAU).
