The responsible committee for this document is ISO/TC 172 "Optics and photonics", Subcommittee SC 4, "Telescopic systems". The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 027-01-10 AA "Fernrohre und Vergrößerungsgläser" ("Telescopic systems") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO).
