DIN ISO 8405:2014-12

This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances, in millimetres, of ejector sleeves with cylindrical head which are used in compression and injection moulds and in die casting dies. The standard also gives material guidelines and hardness requirements, and specifies the designation of ejector sleeves with cylindrical head. The International Standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the participation of German experts. The acceptance of the work results into the German set of rules has been decided by Working Committee NA 121-03-03 AA "SpA ISO/TC 29/SC 8/WG 3 Press-, Spritzgieß- und Druckgießwerkzeuge" ("Mirror Committee ISO/TC 29/SC 8/WG 3 Tools for moulding") at the DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
