DIN VDE 0105-7:2011-10

This standard applies, in conjunction with DIN VDE 0105-100 (VDE 0105-100) for operation of electrical installations in areas endangered by substances with explosive characteristics. The amendments and supplements given in this standard shall be considered. These installations have been erected according to DIN V VDE V 0166 (VDE V 0166). If areas are also potentially explosive, further requirements apply for this purpose. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN VDE 0105-7 (VDE 0105-7):1987-12: a) the complete text has been aligned with DIN VDE 0105-100 (VDE 0105-100) and DIN V VDE V 0166 (VDE V 0166); b) the term "explosive substance" has been replaced by "substances with explosive properties" in the complete text. The responsible Committee is K 236 "Errichten elektrischer Anlagen und deren Betriebsmittel in explosivstoffgefährdeten Bereichen" ("Installation of electrical installations in explosive atmospheres") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
