The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-02-01 UA "Verarbeitungswerkzeuge für wärmeschrumpfende Bauelemente" ("Processing tools for heat shrinkable components") at the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in conjunction with generic standard VG 95236-6. The tools are applicable for shrinking of heat shrinkable components. Tools according to this standard are subject to qualification approval according to VG 95211.
