DIN IEC/TR 60146-1-2:2012-03

Starting with the description of the applications of semiconductor converters, DIN IEC/TR 60146-1-2 presents detailed information concerning technical aspects. It deals with, amongst others, the practical calculation of operational parameters, compensation of the idle power consumption of the converter, harmonics and filters as well as immunity filters and their selection. The purpose of these considerations is a simplification of the application of DIN EN 60146-1-1 and the possibility to derive specifications for special cases not dealt with in this standard. Moreover, DIN IEC/TR 60146-1-2 also presents test requirements and methods for power loss, contains considerations regarding performance requirements and provides information regarding converter operation. The responsible committee is K 331 "Leistungselektronik" ("Power electronic systems and equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
