DIN SPEC 1108-5:2016-10

This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 051-01-03 AA "Dienstleistungen (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 1/PWG 8)" ("Services (mirror committee to CEN/TC 183/WG 1/PWG 8)" at DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services (NKT). In this document standards for services in the field of winter maintenance are defined for the first time. It applies to all traffic areas in accordance with DIN SPEC 1108-1 "Terms". Excluded are federal highways and state roads, which are the responsibility of the federal and state authorities. The document contains the description of the services with their parameters for implementation at different service levels. It specifies the quality objective, the logistic basis for route planning, the required equipment, the documentation of the services (operating logbook), and the quality and performance control, as well as the requirements for the operation and personnel necessary to ensure reliability, increase quality, and traceability of the services.
