DIN SPEC 36601:2014-12

This DIN Technical Specification contains the German translation of the high-level structure for Management System Standards specified in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 1, ISO Supplement, Annex SL (edition 2014). With the high level structure an identical core text for the core requirements for management systems as well as common terms and core definitions are also specified. The aim of the high level structure to simplify, by the unification of the structure of management system standards, their application in organizations, especially if the requirements of more than only one management system standard are intended to be implemented. The German translation has been prepared by the DIN Standards Committee for Organizational Processes (NAOrg) in collaboration with the Austrian Standards Institute (ASI) and the Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV) with the participation of experts from various management system disciplines. It provides the basis for all translations of management system standards into German, which are based completely or in part on the high level structure specified in Annex SL. This document supersedes DIN Technical Specification 121:2002-01. DIN Technical Specification 121:2002-01 contained the guidelines for the justification and development of management system standards contained in ISO Guide 72:2001. ISO Guide 72 was withdrawn in 2012. Its contents were fundamentally revised and added as Annex SL into the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 1 (ISO Supplement). This Technical Specification so far only contains Appendix 2 of Annex SL. Steering Committee of DIN Standards Committee for Organizational Processes (NAOrg) is responsible for this DIN Technical Specification.
