Short description
When approving waste treatment plants, their expected odour emissions must be considered from an environmental-hygienic point of view. Dispersion calculations can then be used to forecast ambient air concentrations in the vicinity of planned plants. In addition to meteorological data, this requires knowledge of the emission load and the emission conditions of the planned plant. A representative determination of the emission load is indispensable for a proper determination of the immissions. The emission factors provided in this standard can be used for this purpose.
