Short description
Results of repeated measurements for the assessment of environmental working noise may vary essentially among other influences due to changing emission and propagation conditions. The guideline presents methods which allow for a reproducible description by characteristic values and their confidence ranges of noise immision with levels variating over time. This a more differentiated description of noise immission and of the acoustical surrounding is possible. Characteristic values are determined from collectives of measurement values using statistical methods.
