The document describes a method of direct measurement of the effects of air constituents on steel sheets. The method is intended to provide a basis for performing investigations into the effects on property and materials as demanded in § 47 of the German Federal Immission Protection Law (BImSchG). It can also be used as a test method for evaluating environmental impacts if required for the purposes of the implementation of the Environmental Compatibility Act (UVPG), in particular in accordance with § 6, para. 4, clause 2.
