The high hygienic demands of production and aseptically filling of microbiologically sensible beverage and dairy products require a personnel's extended knowledge and experience. It is recommended to provide hygienic courses of category A and category B described in this standard in the contract for the hygienically oriented planning, construction, operation and maintenance of plants for production and filling of beverage and dairy products. Subjects of a course according to this standard are VDI 4066 Part 1 (beverages) and VDI 4066 Part 4 (dairy products).
