Short description
The standard describes a simplified method for the determination of measurement uncertainty, which is conform to "ISO-Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM)". Thus, the claim of the specification of the measurement uncertainty as well as the traceable calibration is taken into account. The modelling of the function for the measurement uncertainty analysis is described. The standard gives descriptions about their discovery and presents examples. The main mathematical foundations are listed and enable the user to create corresponding models for the determination of the measurement uncertainty itself, or to adjust available equations to present conditions.
