A revision compared to the 2013-09 edition was urgently required because some of the identifiers for hose assemblies according to Table 1 and thus also the identifiers for the connection type of the fittings were modified.
The assignment of Type 1TE, Type 2TE, Type 1ST and Type 2ST hoses, which are no longer intended for new developments, to hose fittings has been given in Annex A (informative).
Consequently, Tables A.1 to A.3 have been extended and Table A.4 Connection dimensions and nominal connection size of hose fittings with the identifiers A8 (L series) and A.9 (S series) have been newly included.
This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-08 AA "Fluidschläuche" ("Tubes for fluids").
