Overview

This topic has been submitted as a request for the development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within DIN SPEC (PAS)-consortiums set up on a temporary basis. In the attached business plan you will find detailed information on the planned project as well as concrete time limits for commenting on the business plan (four-week commentary period) and for registering for the kick-off. This document will be developed and approved by the authors named in the business plan. This DIN SPEC will specify requirements for primary agricultural use in the field of agrophotovoltaics (APV). It will specify requirements for the planning, operation, documentation and operational monitoring of agrophotovoltaic systems. Further, it will specifiy measurable performance indicators for test methods for the quality assurance of agrophotovoltaic systems. All requirements and performance indicators are related to agricultural use. Requirements for primary agricultural use include topics such as the light intensity and light distribution of the PV system, the degree of adaptation of the solar radiation supply of the PV to the needs of the respective crop, influence of the PV on soil moisture, where applicable its influence on hail protection requirements etc.. Wherever reference is made to electrotechnical parameters such as specific yield or performance ratio (PR), the existing PV standards from IEC TC 82 /DKE K373 have been used. The same applies to specifications for erecting electrical installations. This DIN SPEC will expressly not involve standardization in the field of classical open space photovoltaic systems (PV-FFA), as relevant standards already exist for these systems.
