This Technical Specification provides a recommended methodology for identifying relevant parameters of nanomaterials. It describes a generic guideline on the implementation of quality assessment and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) assessment for Nano-enabled/Nano-enhanced products, hereinafter referred to as NE Products. It is the aim of this Technical Specification to enable the assessment of the quality and risks of Nano-enabled electrotechnical products. The responsible body is DKE/K 141 "Nanotechnologie" ("Nanotechnology") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
