Short description
The standard VDI/VDE 3528 Part 1 provides recommendations on the basic requirements for series products in order to be able to use them for safety-related functions of categories A, B and C. VDI/VDE 3582 Part 2 describes a way in which the requirements for measuring points can be elaborated and suitable transmitters and sensors selected (additional qualifications may be required). Tables shown in the Annexes can be used to document the requirements, evaluations and solutions.
