Short description
The guideline deals with spectral prediction method for groundborne vibrations in the frequency range from 4 Hz to 80 Hz which originate in overground rail systems and which are transmitted into neighbouring buildings via the track superstructure and substructure as well as by the ground. Here, building vibrations may reach levels which are felt distinctly and which exceed the limit values laid down for the exposure of people in buildings to vibration.
