Short description
This guideline specifies the procedures used for testing conformity with the minimum requirements on optical remote sensing systems for monitoring gaseous pollutants in ambient air by line-, plane-, and volume-integrated measurements, or by volume-resolved measurements. It applies to all suitability tests of optical remote sensing systems, the use of which is intended for tasks in the area of air quality monitoring covered by law. It is not applicable to the individual components of measuring systems, since suitability testing allways includes the complete measuring system.
